SPMS - SharePoint 2007 End-User Course for Team Leaders (Managing Settings)

This one-day instructor-led course concentrates on SharePoint 2007 from the Site Owner’s perspective. As a site owner, you will play an important role in facilitating collaboration within your organisation. Setting up sites and site collections that are useful and easy to navigate will encourage your colleagues to take advantage of the many benefits of SharePoint.

After completing the course students will understand:

This module introduces the course and discusses some of the required background information

Module 3: Site Customisations
This Module continues with Site Customisation and deals with Site Ownership. It also shows how to change the 'look and feel' of Sites.

Module 4: Lists and Document Libraries
This module demonstrates how to create and configure document libraries and lists however it does not show how to use them!

Module 5: Site Columns and Content Types

Module 8: Security

Module 9: Using the Recycle Bin
This module gives the user the ability to use the Recycle Bin at all levels.

This is an advanced technical end user course and is recommended for users who are responsible for setting up and managing MOSS/WSS sites for departments or projects.

Before attending this workshop, students should be familiar with Microsoft Office and have three – six months experience with MOSS/WSS (Version 3) or have completed the SharePoint 2007 End-User (Managing Content) course.
