This one-day instructor-led course will provide students with the skills and knowledge acquired in Microsoft Visio 2007 to create real-world drawings using shapes, stencil connectors, pages, formatting options, grids, styles, and printing features through group and individual instruction, hands-on practical exercises, visual aids, and comprehensive training manuals and materials.
After completing this one-day instructor-led course, participants will be able to:
• Create and navigate in a file; use Visio Help; manipulate windows and stencils; and select, scale, and resize objects. • Draw and reshape objects; work with compound lines; duplicate objects; and align, distribute, group, and rotate objects. • Plan a flowchart; use master shapes; connect shapes in a diagram; use basic text features; and create a simple organisation chart. • Use various text formatting options; format text blocks; and format shapes and lines. • Set file properties for a new drawing; create background pages; work with detail pages and links; use Print Preview mode; and print a diagram. • Create network, rack, and brainstorming diagrams. • Use advanced connection and layout techniques; set custom properties for shapes; and create and modify property reports.

This course has been designed for people who need to know how to create a range of diagrams and drawings such as flowcharts, business diagrams, office floor plans and organisation charts.
This course assumes no prior knowledge or experience with Microsoft Visio 2007.
