This five-day instructor-led course focuses on providing the skills and knowledge necessary to install, operate and troubleshoot a small to medium-size branch office Enterprise network, including configuring several switches and routers, connecting to a WAN and implementing network security.
• After completing the ICND2 course participants can register to sit the ICND2 exam (640-816) to gain their (CCNA) Cisco Certified Network Associate certification.
• Participants who have completed the ICND1 course need to sit the ICND1 exam (640-822) to gain their (CCENT) Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician certification before sitting the ICND2 exam (640-816) to gain their (CCNA) certification..
• Alternatively participants wishing to gain their (CCNA) certification (on completion of both the ICND1 course and ICND2 course or CCNA Bootcamp) participants can sit the one comprehensive Cisco CCNA exam (640-802) covering exam topics from both ICND1 and ICND2.

This course is intended for students who wish to gain the CCNA certification. It is designed for those who have a firm background in data networking or have hands on experience with Cisco routers and switches who wish to increase their knowledge on installation, maintaining and troubleshooting networks.
Before attending this course, students should have completed course ICND1.
