This five-day instructor-led course includes a 90 minute examination, consisting of 8 multiple choice, scenario-based, gradient scored questions.
Each question will have four possible answer options, one is worth 5 marks, one which is worth 3 marks, one which is worth 1 mark and one which is a distractor and achieves no marks. Students must achieve a score of 28 out of 40 (or 70%) in order to have passed this examination.
The course itself is the final module from the ITIL Intermediate Lifecycle and Capability Modules that leads to the ITIL Expert qualification in IT Service Management.
The requirements, activities, methods and approach for planning and implementing Service Management will be covered in this practical, hands-on learning environment.
Successfully attaining the ITIL Intermediate Certificate for Managing Across The Lifecycle provides a final 5 credits (in addition to all other Lifecycle/Capability & Foundation credits) towards the maximum 22 required in order to achieve the ITIL Expert qualification.

• This course is intended for individuals and IT professionals who require a deeper understanding of the ITIL Service Lifecycle and how it may be implemented to enhance the overall quality of IT Service support and delivery.
• This course is also suitable for operation staff who wish to enhance their role-based capabilities and is the final mandatory module for those progressing to the ITIL Expert qualification.
Students participating in this course must have either:
• The ITIL V3 Foundation Certificate or V2 Foundation plus V3 Foundation Bridge Certificates, and • Have obtained a further 15 credits as a minimum from a balanced selection of Service Lifecycle and Service Capability qualifications
