$4000 Government Training Incentives per eligible employee
The Australian Federal Government has allocated funding as an incentive for employers to participate in the Australian Apprenticeship and Traineeship schemes. These schemes not only include trades, but also traineeships which allows people from almost any sector or industry to consider this funding initiative.

ELIGIBILITY

Rebates are available for employers to train their staff using a Registered Training
Organisation (RTO).

EXISTING EMPLOYEES INCENTIVE

Pre-requisite:

•Employed longer than 3 months full-time, or 12 months part-time.
•Employees could be eligible for a total of $4000 of incentives:
•Standard Commencement Incentive: $1,500 can be obtained 3 months following the commencement of an approved Certificate III or IV qualification.
•Completion incentive: $2,500

NEW EMPLOYEES INCENTIVE

Employees could be eligible for a total of $4000 of incentives:

• Standard Commencement Incentive: $1,500 can be obtained 3 months following the commencement of an approved Certificate III or IV  qualification.
• Completion incentive: $2,500

Additionally, the student must satisfy the following requirements:

• Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or have Australian residency.
• Must be working an average of 15 hours per week
• Be older than 15
• Must not have completed a Certificate III or IV, or higher, in the last seven years.
