MAPA 2016
This year MIS Global Technologies was a proud nominee for the Excellence In Learning Award for MAPA 2016. MGT staff members Malek, Lynette and Bryan traveled to the Gold Coast experience MAPA 2016 first hand.
The event is a place for Microsoft partners to meet and network with each other and a time when partners have the opportunity to interact with Microsoft staff themselves. It’s also a place to recognise all the Microsoft partners who have done well throughout the year and have brought innovation to the information technology industry by using Microsoft’s products and services either to improve business performance or to help the community.
MIS Global Technologies was nominated for the Excellence In Learning award for our work with providing MCSA certification pathways with the ICT50415 Diploma Of Information Technology Networking at MGIT. The combination of the certification pathway to MCSA with our ICT50415 Diploma Of Information Technology is something that we have worked very hard to achieve and it’s something that we are quite proud of here at MIS Global Technologies and also at MGIT. Students have been quite happy with the course and we are happy to provide such a combination to them as well as we believe the certification brings a strong benefit to those looking to start their IT careers.
MIS Global Technologies was nominated for Excellence In Learning amongst three of the countries top IT learning service providers. While we were not chosen as the winner on the day, we do still feel proud to be one of the top four learning partners for 2016 and being nominated for such a prestigous award.
MAPA 2016 was a fairly large event with attendees filling the main hall on the awards night to see which partners were the winners for various categories. After the event there was a lovely dinner prepared for attendees by Microsoft for the awards show after party. This was a place where attendees were able to dine and enjoy the rest of their night and celebrate their achievements for the year. The room appeared to be jungle themed with plants spread all over the hall, there were green lights all over the place and there was even grass laid on the ground in certain areas for attendees to walk on. There were booths you could visit with various cuisine choices from different parts of the world and best of all, it was all you can eat and drink for the night!
The following days of MAPA 2016 consisted of multiple seminars and events for attendees to visit which covered topics such as marketing advice for those in the industry, technology advice on things such as cyber security, the cloud or Office 365 and also a few seminars of interest for sales people to attend.
MAPA 2016 was overall a great time and wonderful experience which provided our staff who attended with essential knowledge and inspiration upon their return to Parramatta after the event.
